Welcome to Pre Hockey Learn to Skate!
Just a reminder, we have added an extra 30 minutes of practice time to each day. This time is optional, and we encourage you to take advantage of it!  Just to clarify, Instructors will NOT working with kids during free skate.

Pre hockey 0-1's AND  Pre Hockey 2-3's will have practice time first, and instruction will follow that.

Pre Hockey 0-1 instruction at 5:30 pm.  Free Skate at 5 pm.
Pre Hockey 2-3  Free Skate at 5 pm.  Instruction at 5:30.

Again, this is optional.

Shin guards and elbow pads are a really good idea to have.  Kids tend to fall a lot while learning!
Helmets with a face mask are a must have, and if you need one, we have some to loan..  first come first served.  Please arrive early for that!  Helmets all fit differently, and if your child has a very small head..  dig out the winter stuff and bring a knit hat (beanie type-ish) which will take up some space under his/her helmet.
Gloves/mittens are needed. Hockey gloves are suggested for Pre Hockey 2 and 3.

Dress warmly in layers.  We skate on the South Rink.  Please come into the concession and "check in", payment may be made at that time.  Kids will be getting stickers for their helmets if they are moved to Pre hockey 2 and 3 so instructors can tell which class they are in quickly.
